Real-Life Decision Making

You are a college academic advisor. A second-year student informs you that he is considering dropping out of school because the student loan he was expecting didn't come through and he's broke.

You suggest a part-time job, but he's not sure he can juggle a part-time job with school. He's already taking extra classes hoping to graduate early, and he's struggling to keep up.

You have the resources to help him find a job through the employment center, but you're not sure if he can maintain a schedule which includes both extra classes and a part-time job.

He says he that if he stays in school, he wants to continue with the extra courses because he's anxious to graduate early.

What do you do?
