Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You decide to continue with the show.

You want to maintain a good relationship with the promoter, so that he hires you again. You decide to go on with the show because you know he will be mad if it's canceled. What's the worst that can happen, after all? And the sun could come out. Weather forecasts are always wrong, right?

Unfortunately, the forecast was right this time. Twenty minutes into the show, a bolt of lightning hits the hill behind the stage. The audience screams. Everyone is fine, but the performer is too terrified to continue. You end up canceling anyway, and now everyone is angry. And it could have been much worse!
