When you finish, the product looks dazzling. In the morning, you show the product to your boss. He agrees that it looks wonderful.

"That's what I tried to tell the client," he says. "But they really wanted the pale colors. It was the effect they were looking for. After hearing their ideas, I agreed that pastels suited their needs."

Uh, oh! Now you have to tell the boss you didn't follow his instructions and you have nothing ready for the client. "Some colors can look rather washed-out," says Paul. "Sometimes you can select a better color scheme, but sometimes you have to follow instructions."
