Real-Life Decision Making

You are working on an exciting clay animation film about spiders. You have created intricate and detailed characters and settings, which thrill the client.

"You have to be an excellent sculptor to do this work well," says John Lemmon, a clay animator in North Carolina. "You're always sculpting and resculpting the character being animated."

At the last minute, the client decides he wants an extra scene of ants attacking a spider added to the film. Whew! It will take a lot of time and skill to create these new characters and enact the scene.

In addition, the client has only given you a few days to do the work. You really want to attack the assignment and prove your skills as a clay animator, but you think it's nearly impossible to complete the sculptures and filming in this short amount of time.

You refuse to turn down the work, so what are you going to do?
