Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You keep quiet.

You're almost done your residency, so you decide to keep quiet. Let someone else blow the whistle on the safety violations taking place at the lab, you think to yourself. Unfortunately, your last few weeks there don't go smoothly.

Just as you guessed, someone else does tell the authorities about the spill. Before revoking the nuclear pharmacy's license, they conduct interviews with all the employees to find out what really took place. You're forced to explain everything -- including your own half-hearted decision to go along with the cover-up.

Once the local media learn of the story, it becomes a scandal. People seem dumbfounded that the lab could so blatantly ignore the law.

It looks as thought the residency will be a stain on your resume rather than an impressive credential. You've barely begun your career as a nuclear pharmacist and already your reputation has been tarnished.
