Allen, a star basketball player, has been out of the lineup for several weeks. He's got 2 injuries -- a muscle tear in his upper arm and a fractured bone in his leg. His medical recovery is coming to a close, but his physical rehabilitation is just beginning. The team doctor has sent Allen to you for a 3-week weight training plan that will get him back on the court.

You consult some literature and find the following guidelines: During the first week of rehab, athletes should use 15 percent of maximum weight for muscle injuries and 20 percent for bone fractures. During the second week, the percentages increase to 20 and 25. During the third week, they increase to 30 and 40 percent.

Allen can lift a maximum weight of 45 pounds with his arms. For his legs, the maximum weight is 110 pounds. What will his maximum weight lifting capacity be for each of the next 3 weeks?
