Insider Info

Additional Information

Like many physically demanding sports, the career life of a motocross racer is relatively short. Racers over age 30 compete in the veteran's class, and it is rare to see anyone over age 45 still racing. Partly because of this, parents often encourage their children to begin racing in peewee classes, and many racers turn professional before leaving high school.
