Real-Life Decision Making

Your ship is in port in Puerto Vallarta and passengers are preparing to go ashore. A young couple approaches you. They have a pile of guidebooks and maps in their hands.

This is their first time traveling. They want you to recommend a good taxi company to take them into town. You ask if they've ever been to Puerto Vallarta before and they say no, but mention they've been doing some reading about the city.

The ship offers shore excursions, but this couple thinks they'd like to explore on their own. You don't want to interfere, but you think the ship's guided tour might be a better idea for these novice travelers. If you suggest they'd be better off taking the tour, you'll risk offending them. But if they take a taxi into the city and get lost while exploring, their trip will be ruined. What do you do?
