Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You use one frame for that knockout effect.

Your decision to go with the single frame cartoon works -- and how! Within 24 hours, Baconburg City Hall is flooded with calls from outraged and concerned citizens, all of them demanding answers. While you can't say for sure that it was your little cartoon that caused this public response, you can be sure that it was certainly a factor.

"Sometimes, because you can draw the original cartoon so much bigger than what you see in the paper," says Clay Jones, "things go rather well. The detail is there, the comprehension is there and it would really be unnecessary to do anything more than a single frame."
