Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You choose the secluded location.

You drive in and put the hives down. Later, when you want to retrieve the honey, you can't drive in because the ground is too wet. Now, you're going to have to walk to the location and carry the supers by hand.

Supers are boxes enclosing the honey frames, where the bees put their honey. Each super can weigh as much as 75 pounds or more.

You've got a lot of hard work ahead of you! Next time, you'll choose a more accessible location.

"The better decision is to put it close to the road so you'll always be able to drive in to it," says beekeeper Kenn Tuckey.
