Real-Life Math

You are a butler working in a hotel. You're responsible for overseeing the suites on the top floor. That's 22 rooms. Plus you must manage the club lounge, which is available to any guest staying in one of those 22 rooms.

The club lounge offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is open from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. Lately, it has been busier than usual, so the general manager of the hotel has asked you to monitor the number of guests.

He's only interested in knowing the exact numbers that visit on Saturday and Sunday. He wants to know how many people visit at breakfast, lunch and dinner and how much alcohol is sold at these times. He'd also like to know, on average, how much each guest spends on alcohol.

You and your staff monitor the traffic in the lounge all weekend. You decide to devise a chart so the numbers are easier to tally up. On Monday morning, you total up the numbers. This is what they look like:

Chart: Number of People

BreakfastLunchDinner
Sat:273458
Sun:443821
BreakfastLunchDinner
Sat:$21$250$560
Sun:$33$295$185

You need to determine how many guests were in the club lounge for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the entire weekend. You also need to determine how much, on average, each guest spent on alcohol.
