Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You draw the illustration.

The medical center asked for an illustration of a kidney in its most simplistic form. It has to be an illustration that clearly shows what a kidney looks like from a surgeon's point of view. Although it doesn't require a lot of detail, it must be clear and accurate.

The only difficulty here is the time factor. You realize that you will have to put in more hours. Jaye Schlesinger says that being a self-employed illustrator "requires a lot of discipline and self-motivation."

You are drawing only what the client wants to see. This means that it must be a picture of a kidney that doesn't show all that a photograph shows.

Your client is pleased with the results. Although you are tired from having to do a faster job than usual, you have managed to make a client happy.
