Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You decide to accept the teaching job.

You take the job. When you have an evening to yourself, you type away as fast as you can. While it is stressful trying to work so much and write so much, at least the bills are getting paid. You figure it will just take you longer to finish a story.

As time goes by though, you realize you are too drained from work to get much writing done. It seems like these big writing projects may never get finished. You just don't seem to have the time or energy you need to motivate yourself or concentrate.

"Writing takes a lot out of you," says novelist Sonia Craddock. "You're constantly thinking about your characters and the plot line, so focusing on other things is often very difficult."
