Real-Life Communication

You're a puppeteer who likes to write your own stories. Most of your shows are for young kids. You like to teach a lesson with each show you do.

You are planning a new show. You have four puppets: a woman, a dog, an old man, and a young boy. You want the lesson to be about how people are often afraid of things just because they don't know about them.

You want to write a short summary of the story before you write the whole story. Many writers will write one of these first. It is also called an outline or a synopsis.

Write a synopsis of a story you make up that teaches the above lesson. It should be brief, with no dialog. Just mention the main things that happen to the puppets. Use your imagination and have fun!
