Real-Life Communication

You're teaching English to a class of business executives in Japan. Most of your class seems to be keeping up, except for Mr. Kiro, who also happens to be a director of a corporation. You feel this man would do much better if he dropped down to an easier class.

You're planning to write a memo, which will be translated into Japanese by one of your colleagues, telling Mr. Kiro that you recommend he take an easier class.

Remember, Japan is a country where status is very important, so you must be very careful how you word this. Write a polite and discreet letter in English, suggesting that Mr. Kiro switch classes.
