You print the job.
You figure if you're close, it will be good enough.
Shortly after starting the printing press, you notice a flaw on the sheets
coming out. It seems there's a scratch on the plate, which makes the
image. Already, 2,000 mailers have been printed, but they're all spoiled.
The plate can be fixed relatively quickly. That's not your main problem.
Now, you're definitely short on paper. You tell your foreman. He is
angry that you started the job with barely enough paper. Everyone is going
to have to stay late as more paper is ordered.
If the paper had been ordered earlier, you might have finished on time.
Not now.
You've cost the print shop money and delayed everyone's
weekend. Next time, you won't take the same chance!
