Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You discuss this with the client, suggesting that perhaps taxidermy isn't what they want.

You have to be careful how you explain to the client that their request is not feasible.

You discuss this with the client, but she still wants you to do it. You, however, are going to refuse.

"If you still feel that it is wrong and not in your best interest to do the job, state your reasons and then refuse the job," says taxidermist Bob Davis. "Remember: it is your reputation. One bad job will do you more harm than 100 good jobs will do. Bad news travels fast."

You explain to the client that you believe she will be unhappy with the final product, and that one bad job may be too risky for your business.

Although this client leaves unhappy, you believe you did the right thing. Business continues as usual, and this is one job that was better left alone.
