Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You change the play.

The success of a playwright is obtained through fierce competition. It is unrealistic to expect to make writing plays a career if you do not consider the market, as it has the most major influence upon your success.

A playwright should know the market and the market value of potential projects. They should work on those projects that best fit the market and should be willing to adapt their ideas in order to best take advantage of the market.

"I love the chance to create work for a live audience to enjoy. I love the chance to share ideas, and I love making people think," says playwright Mark Leiren-Young.
