Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You advise her it's not healthy, and that the goals she has set are impossible to accomplish within a week.

You remain honest and tell her the truth about her goals. You tell her they cannot be reached within a week -- it would be unhealthy to try to do so. You encourage her to continue eating properly. You suggest that by continuing with regular workouts, she can definitely achieve her goals over time.

She seems a bit disappointed, but appears to accept your advice.

You suggest that she make being fit and healthy for the graduation ceremony in three months her goal. You notice that she continues to drop in to your class daily. She ends up attaining her goal within the three months, and her health has never been better. She speaks to the manager about your exceptional service.
