A big-name soda company has asked you to come up with a 3D design for their web page. You have been asked to design a 3D bottle of the company's new drink. Then you are to create the movement to show the contents of the bottle being poured into a glass.

To create the best 3D design, you want to use a program that would show the bottle and the glass as accurately and as realistically as possible. The best method to use is called raytracing. It traces rays in reverse from the eye to the light source. It tends to take a long time but it's the best renderer for very reflective materials such as mirrors and chrome or refractive materials such as glass and water.

The problem is, the company wants this project done in one week. Normally, a project like this would take you much longer than that. There are other ways to create the 3D design that would be a lot faster and that you could do in time. But they would not be as realistic.

You have to decide which way to go. You could have the design done faster if you don't use the raytracing. Or you could work a lot of long hours and beg for an extension.
