Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You use the raytracing.

This is the real-life decision that Chris Kowal would likely make. He is a 3D renderer-designer. The key is to explain to the client why this is the best approach, and then ensure there is enough time to do it right.

"I think honesty goes a long way," says Kowal. "I would ask the client, 'OK, is it a hard deadline that we've got to do this in a week?'"

If the client can't move the deadline, then you have to explain what you can realistically do within a week. You don't want to disappoint the client and give them less than they expected.
