Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You do the work as part of the original contract in order to keep the client happy.

After all, word of mouth is how many photostylists get the majority of their business. But is doing extra work for free really the reputation you want?

"Styling is about making decisions every moment on the job," says Stephen Ang, a New York photostylist and teacher.

"What props to purchase, how to present merchandise, where to resource props, how to present concepts to clients [and] photographers, [and] how to budget finances for the project" are just a few of the decisions that photostylists make daily.
