Real-Life Decision Making

An older woman comes into the cancer clinic for radiation therapy. She is in the middle of a 13-week treatment plan. She has had a terrible night's sleep and is telling you that she is in a hurry.

You have just finished inspecting the radiation machine and have determined that the calibration is three degrees out of alignment. The machine is in otherwise good operating order.

The woman has all of her time booked up for the next three days.

What do you do?
