Real-Life Communication -- Solution

You are a camera operator working with an intern reporter. You film a protest in front of a government building, and then help your reporter with his stand-up. This is how you changed his speech:

I am standing in front of the building with a group of people who are protesting the proposed changes to the gun laws. The bill would extend the waiting period required before buying a firearm.

Approximately 50 of these protesters are marching in front of the steps. They are waiting for the authorities to meet with them. No one has shown up to talk with them yet.

Just a few moments ago, another group of people arrived on the scene. There are about 15 of them waving placards to show their support for the new law.

Reporting for ETV News, I'm Derrick Shilling.
