You've decided to go online with your business. Now you have to design your website.

This year, you've decided you're going to get an early jump on the winter season. Your first page will be dedicated to humidifiers and to the potential ill effects of dry winter air around the house.

After a few minutes of brainstorming, you've come up with a few points you may want to include:

  • Dry winter air can be a nuisance
  • Air makes its way inside your home and affects family and furniture
  • Home becomes too dry = wood furnishings shrink
  • Carpet becomes more susceptible to wear, wood framing of home shrinks and cracks and lets in that cold winter wind
  • Takes a bite out of your pocketbook (worn furniture, increased heating costs)
  • Dry air takes away moisture from the skin
  • Skin rashes may develop

"Communications and customer relations are big things in my line of work," says heating and cooling technician Jim Bodine. "You can be the best tech in the world, but the fact is if people don't like you, you won't be very successful. In everything, you must put out the impression that you want to help people, that you have a service they need."

Take a few of the above ideas and write a short opening blurb for your web page.
