Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You create as many good drawings as you can.

You spend three sleepless days drawing every idea that pops into your head. You become irritable and unsure of yourself. You try to polish as many of the images as you can. But you can't seem to complete any of them to your satisfaction. By the time your meeting with your boss takes place, all you've got is one good image and pages of incomplete character sketches.

Your boss voices her disappointment. But she extends your deadline by a few hours and asks you to concentrate on the one concept she likes best.

Creating as many good drawings as you can before your deadline hits is not the best way to face this challenge. You run the risk of running out of energy as well as ending up with incomplete drawings.

"It's more important to complete a drawing than to have this incredible face and no body. Nobody wants to see half a character," says Cecile Foshee, an art instructor.
