Real-Life Math -- Solution

Respecting the scale factor will ensure each perspective you draw is proportionate to the other ones. That way, the 3D versions of the drawings will correlate and won't look disproportionate.

Pierre Fortin has worked as a video game concept artist. He says proportion calculations often come into play when drawing concepts. You don't want the images to look deformed.

Start with what you know:

Your character is described as 30 feet tall. Two inches in your drawing represent 10 feet in the Son of Godzilla world.

30 feet / 10 feet = 3

3 10-foot segments x 2 inches per 10-foot segment = 6 inches

Your character must be 6 inches tall.
