The agent of a band approaches you with an offer. You can book the band for a fee of $10,000.

You know that production costs will come to $3,000. Then you have to spend another $1,000 on the hall rental, $250 on insurance and $1,000 on security. Accommodation and meals for the band will cost $1,000. You also have other miscellaneous costs that come to $300.

Each ticket costs $20. How many tickets will you need to sell to turn a 10 percent profit?
