Real-Life Decision Making

The old business adage is that the customer is always right. And usually, that adage is correct. But sometimes it's not that simple.

For instance, you are a customizer with a client who wants his Firebird to be the most eye-catching vehicle ever to hit the pavement. He asks you to paint racing stripes and huge flames on the hood and a colorful cartoon character on the back.

But he also asks you to paint in a saying beneath the cartoon character -- a saying filled with foul language.

While you respect the customer's right to paint whatever he wants on his car, you are not so sure you want your name and reputation attached to this particular piece of artwork. After all, you know people will ask him who painted his car.

You look over the design and decide to call him up to explain your concerns. He gets angry and tells you that you have to make a decision: either paint it the way he wants it, or return his deposit payment and let him find someone else who will do it.

What do you do?
