Additional Information

It's possible to become a marketing and sales development coordinator with one of the following degrees: business, marketing, commerce, communications, advertising or public relations.

"I would look to a program with co-op possibilities, one that is case-study heavy and has an emphasis on the marketing of high-tech companies and products," says marketing consultant Paul Iarocci.

Strong computer skills are also important in this field. Marketing and sales development coordinators sometimes have to input and analyze data and create publications.
