Education Level

Education training and experience are required at different levels for success in different occupations.

High school preferred, plus moderate length, on-the-job training

Most employers prefer to hire high school graduates. Some patternmakers take classes to learn how to sew and alter clothing, but there are few formal programs available. Those interested are often trained on the job.
