Real-Life Communication

Parapsychology has its own language. Good parapsychologists can translate it into plain language for the rest of us.

Read the memo below and the definitions that follow. Then translate this memo into a newspaper story that everyone can understand.

From: T. Drought, parapsychologist
Re: The occurrences at the Dillon household

Mrs. Dillon began to experience moments of ESP more than five months ago. Recently, she contacted a parapsychology expert.

Close evaluation revealed she had moments of clairvoyance and precognition. She showed the ability to learn information through telepathy.

Finally, on Friday, May 11, Mrs. Dillon proved her abilities extended to psychokinesis. She moved an ashtray more than 12 inches across a table and caused a painting to fall off the wall.

It is my professional opinion that the Dillon home is the site of extensive psi. It should be monitored as closely as possible. We are inviting unbiased members of the public and media to attend a future seance at the home.
